Kenneth Cole x Lingua Franca collaboration
Jan 2024 — The launch event for @kennethcole and @linguafrancanyc’s initiative to destigmatize mental health was inspiring, and I’m so grateful to be a part of the campaign. Using culture and creativity as a platform to have difficult conversations about challenging topics is what I try to do in my comedy - and it’s what @kennethcolereal has done for decades starting with addressing the HIV epidemic in the 80s, and now Lingua Franca is following in his footsteps!
Mental health is one of the key underlying problems facing our society. We need to break the shame associated with everything from the day-to-day struggles of loneliness, fear, uncertainty to serious conditions like depression, chronic anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
